Thanks Wilma, the light was really nice for photos this evening. Matt
Hi Matt,
Thanks for the good news about 6 1/2 Sta. I had stopped by a few times but it remained closed with ice.
Wilma’s comment on the RTHA moved me to comment also – – – – – look at that NAIL! WOW! Now that’s a tool that can do real damage. Thanks Matt.
Ken,
I wouldn’t want to mess with that bird, that’s for sure! Good to hear from you. Matt
We stopped by last weekend and had only a very brief glimse of the RTHA. The only other birds we saw were some Canada Geese hanging out in the cattails. Thanks for the update. Will try to get back over this weekend.
Sorry Jean, I just saw this today. I hope you do well if you make it back to the sanctuary. Let me know how you do. Matt
BTW, I don’t know how to get the word out, or if anyone is interested, but if you think so maybe you can help. I saw Horned Grebes Friday & Yesterday at Rio Dam! I was so excited!
Jean – I saw that you posted to the Bashakill Facebook page with this info. You can also look into posting to Mearns Bird Club in the future, it’s a great resource for knowing what birds are around. Here’s a link to their Yahoo page:https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Mearnsbirdclub/info
Thanks Matt! Found the Deli fields too!
